Was passiert, nachdem Sie ein Foto für eine individuelle Figur hochgeladen haben?

You have uploaded your photo and paid. Now what? The gap between "order placed" and "figurine in hand" is where most gift anxiety lives, so here is the actual sequence, step by step, with the honest timeline at each stage.
The short version: you will see a digital preview in 3–5 working days, nothing gets printed until you approve it, and production runs 7–10 working days after that. The details below explain what happens at each step and what you can do to keep the process moving.
Step 1: Your uploaded photo is reviewed
Before anything is designed, the photo gets checked against the basics: is it clear, front-facing, and readable at the size you ordered? If something obvious is wrong — motion blur, face in shadow, a group shot where the subject is tiny — you will hear from us at this point rather than after the preview. This check usually happens within the first working day or two.
Step 2: The digital preview is built
The preview is a digital rendering of your figurine — pose, proportions, color direction, base. It arrives 3–5 working days after your order. This is the most important step in the whole process, because it is your checkpoint: everything about the likeness is visible here, while changes are still cheap.
What to check in the preview
Look at the face first — is it recognizable? Then the pose and proportions. Then colors, if the photo had strong ones. Compare it against the original photo side by side, on the same screen, rather than from memory.
What to do if something looks off
Reply with specifics. "The nose looks different from the photo" is actionable; "I don't like it" is not. Most fixable issues come down to the source photo, and the preview is where you find that out.
Step 3: You approve, or you don't
Nothing is printed until you approve the preview. If you approve, production starts. If you request changes, the design is revised and you see an updated preview. After approval, changes mean a new production run — which is why the preview deserves five careful minutes rather than a glance.
Step 4: Production
Production runs 7–10 working days after your approval. The figurine is 3D-printed in full color, with a matte, sandstone-like surface and visible fine print layers. Working days are not calendar days — a Friday approval can mean the following week's production window, so count carefully against your deadline.
Step 5: Packing and shipping
The finished figurine is packed and shipped in neutral packaging — no supplier branding, no pricing, no marketing inserts. If the gift is going directly to someone else, the parcel arrives looking like a personal gift. Shipping time depends on your address and the option you chose at checkout, and the order page shows the estimated delivery window before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the preview take?
The digital preview arrives 3–5 working days after your order. Nothing is printed until you approve it, so this stage is your main checkpoint for likeness and pose.
What happens if I don't like the preview?
Reply with specific notes — face, pose, proportions, colors. The design is revised and you see an updated preview. Changes after production has started require a new production run, so use the preview stage for corrections.
How long does production take after I approve?
7–10 working days. These are working days, not calendar days, so build in a buffer if your gift has a fixed date.
Will the packaging reveal what the gift is?
No. Figurines ship in neutral packaging with no supplier branding or pricing, so a gift sent directly to the recipient arrives as a personal parcel.
